In a tete-a-tete with Anupam Saha, co-founder and Business Head, RealtoExpress, Bhawna Satsangi finds out the need for CRM solution for this unorganized sector.

Please throw light on the technology that you are offering for Real Estate consultants?

CRM is the need of any industry where customers and relationships play a major role in business growth. It’s a cloud based desktop application which provides security features of a desktop application and scalability of a cloud solution. We are offering CRM solutions where business maintain proper relationship with the client. The solution helps realtor to manage and track their leads. The organization as a whole act in sync with the set business processes so that each client gets the same treatment. This will also help in reducing the client loss and increase profitability of the company.

How CRM solution can help organize the unorganized sector of Real Estate?

If you take the multiple industry verticals in India like automobile sector, banking sector, insurance sector, most of these sectors have embrace the technology much before and the players in that industry has become organized. The moment you become organize, the industry also grows. If the whole sector gets organized the businesses will also grow and this is one of the reasons that the solution was the need of an hour for the real estate sector. Using a CRM you get organized at some level, and then slowly other things will start falling in place.  We are trying to make these people to reap benefits while making it organized.

What are the challenges you face in promoting the solution to these SMEs?

Lack of skilled manpower is the main challenge. Right now in the real estate industry the people who are employed are still not professional in terms of handling new age customers. There is a gap so the main challenge that I am facing is the lack of proper skilled manpower. You need an army of people to use it but in this sector I have not seen good number of executives who can actually take the benefit of the system. However, things are changing and I am positive about the solution we are selling will benefit in days to come.

Are you also tapping other verticals?

Right now RealtoExpress is giving the solution only to the real estate consultants. The solution is not for the developers also. As an organization we believe let’s be good in one thing first and make a mark and then move further. The market is so huge and more than a lakh of consultants are in India so we are right now focusing only to the consultants. There is no scope for other verticals to tap for another two-three years.

What is your go to market strategy?

We are right now targeting Delhi and NCR. Very soon we are planning to open offices in Mumbai, Noida, Chandigarh and that’s the way I want to go to the market. I will be targeting some cream clients in those cities.

How are you marketing your solution?

Right now we are doing the marketing directly but we are open to market through channel. Right now the policy has not changed and we are focusing directly in the market.

Do you also provide training?

It’s not only the solution we are providing. We handhold a consumer or client for minimum of six months and I have a consultant team who are expert in real estate sector. They are the one who becomes the single point of contact in any kind of difficulty facing by the client. We handle the clients till they are confident enough and satisfied. I also have a support portal where a complaint can be send directly and we act accordingly.

What are the value added services you are offering to real estate?

We are providing IT service through our vendor partner Knowlarity and Spark TG. We are also giving sync management services where data can be sync with portal of the company. It is able to sync project with the website. We have also introduced Close My Deal, a B2B platform for the real estate consultants. It works like a what’s app or facebook. It’s a closed group who are actually verified people and they can do the deals on CMD platform without disclosing the client’s details.
