Fuze Networks adopts HOB’s remote access solutions

Profile

Based in Orange County, California, Fuze Networks is one of North America’s leading IT solutions and consulting organizations. With clients predominantly in California, Nevada and Arizona, Fuze Network’s managed and cloud based services are also available globally and used by customers nationwide. The reseller offers e-mail and web security solutions, desktop and server virtualization services, malware and spyware technologies and encryption services. Fuze Networks aims to help their customers lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) for maintenance, support and capital investments in order to manage enterprise information and technology networks.

Challenge

As the mobile workforcehas become increasingly more commonplace, Fuze Networks has recognized the growing market for remote access solutions and managed services as a significant opportunity to fuel growth of the company. Fuze resells remote access solutions from flagship providers Juniper and Cisco, however customers were requesting advanced features and capabilities that Juniper and Cisco do not offer.

Solution

To meet the needs of customers looking for additional features for their remote access solutions, Fuze became a Gold member of HOB’s Partner Program in 2012.HOB is the market leader in pure software-based remote access solutions. The partner program enables partners like Fuze Networks to deliver state of the art solutions to their customers, gain competitive advantage in the remote access marketplace and increase their bottom line. The program includes in-depth product training and certification as well as sales and marketing support.

As a VAR, when Fuze Networks chooses products to resell and partner programs to join, they make selections based on three criteria: reliability, breadth of features and overall value. Michael McKenzie, Solutions Advisor at Fuze Networks, says HOB fulfills each criterion “spot on”. With 24/7 technical support and a “follow the sun” workflow process, HOB is able to provide streamlined support whenever Fuze Networks or its customers need it. Additionally, HOB has strong QA processes and a roadmap of products with advanced support features.

Fuze Networks and HOB form an excellent match – HOB’s solutions align well with Fuze Networks’ desire to expand its portfolio with products that are compatible with Juniper and Cisco products. Fuze Networks resells mainly HOB RD VPN, HOBLink JWT and HOB MacGate. Fuze Networks recently received a request from a law firm customer using Juniper and Cisco remote access solutions. They were looking for dual monitor support, enhanced security and bi-directional audio support, however Juniper and Cisco products don’t offer these features. With the installation of HOB Link JWT, a platform-independent, Java-based solution for accessing MS Windows Terminal Servers, the customer is now able to get the most out of their Juniper and Cisco remote access solutions.

Results

By up-selling Juniper and Cisco products with HOB solutions, Fuze Networks has increased sales significantly. Furthermore, HOB has helped Fuze Networks position themselves as a reseller that provides more business value than their key competitors. With an HOB add-on, an enterprise can receive advanced features and save money as HOB products come with universal gateway licenses that never expire. HOB’s responsive support team also has helped Fuze Networks respond to customer service demand skillfully and quickly.

“The opportunity to join HOB’s Partner program and integrate its remote access solutions with providers such as Juniper and Cisco has helped Fuze Networks increase customer satisfaction and loyalty and expand into new territories,” says Michael McKenzie.“Our customers are happy – they love the functionality HOB brings, have a better user experience, and spend less time and money on maintenance and support. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
